Dear Jane Smith
Appeal against my selection for redundancy
I'm writing to appeal against the decision, given to me on 6 October 2026, to select me for redundancy from my role as Warehouse Team Leader and to end my employment on 30 November 2026.
I'm appealing on the following grounds:
- My scores don't reflect my performance, skills or record, and I believe there are errors in how I was scored.
- I haven't been shown my own scores or the evidence behind them, so I haven't been able to challenge them.
- I wasn't offered, or told about, suitable alternative roles that were available.
I'm asking for the selection to be carried out again, fairly, with my scores reviewed by someone who wasn't involved in the original decision.
Yours sincerely
Sam Taylor
