Dear Jane Smith
Formal grievance: my selection for redundancy
I'm raising a formal grievance about the way I've been selected for redundancy from my role as Warehouse Team Leader. I was told on 28 September 2026.
My concerns are:
- The selection pool wasn't drawn fairly. Employees doing similar or interchangeable work were left out of it, and I haven't been given a good reason for that.
- I haven't been shown my own scores or the evidence behind them, so I haven't been able to challenge them.
I'd like my scores to be reviewed by someone who wasn't involved in the original scoring, and to be given the evidence used.
Yours sincerely
Sam Taylor
